Dog New Tricks

There is little recourse for a client that's been driven by cost for years that you now want to grow.

Trying to put innovation in front of someone you've been providing value to through price isn't going to win.

Here's some possible, but hard, ways out of the spiral:
  1. New client contact comes in (you can't make that happen)
  2. You find a problem for them they didn't see, then solve it
  3. Fire them and find a new client that you can innovate with
  4. Give up. (thanks DHH)
